Becoming a Wharton Center Circle Club Member…
This is your opportunity to support world-renowned performing arts programs right here in your own backyard.

Your Wharton Center Circle Club Membership provides exclusive benefits only enjoyed by our members and keep you connected to exciting Broadway, jazz, classical music, dance and popular artists without the hassle and expense of going to a major metropolitan area.

Your contribution not only supports the exciting theatrical, musical and dance performances but also helps sustain the arts education outreach programs that reach more than 30,000 children each year.

The benefits are our way of saying “thank you” for your support and are intended to enhance your Wharton Center experience. All gifts are tax-deductible and, if you itemize deductions on your tax return, provide a state deduction as well. Annual Membership starts at just $50.

The Levels of Wharton Center Circle Club Membership…

Copper Circle Level ($50 and up)

  • Opportunity to purchase season tickets in advance of public sale
  • Season subscription to Wharton Backstage newsletter
    Mailed to your home three times a year, Backstage takes you behind the scenes at Wharton Center, giving you information about upcoming performances, the business of show business, volunteer and donor spotlights and much more.
  • Advance announcement of special attractions added to the program calendar
    Every year, one to three shows are added after the announcement of the season. These high profile, special attractions have great interest among the general public. In a special mailing, all Circle Members will hear about these attractions and have an opportunity to purchase tickets prior to the general public.

Bronze Circle Level ($100 and up)

All the benefits of Copper plus…

  • Priority 3 seating consideration for Series ticket purchases ordered by announced deadline
  • Acknowledgment in honor roll published in house playbill Curtain Call
    Wharton Center distributes approximately 125,000 Curtain Call program books to our patrons. All Bronze Circle Members and above will be recognized by gift level.
  • Invitation to Donor Appreciation Command Performance
    In the spring, all Bronze Circle Members and above are invited to a Donor Appreciation Command Performance. This complimentary performance, for donors only, does not go on sale to the general public. The performance is followed by a reception, an opportunity to meet the artists and preview the upcoming season.

Silver Circle Level ($250 and up)

All the benefits of Bronze plus…

  • Priority 2 seating consideration for Series ticket purchases ordered by announced deadline (maximum of four Zone 1 seats)
  • Invitation to Wharton Center’s gala to support arts education outreach
    Bi-annually, Wharton Center hosts a dynamic and energetic gala to raise funds for our arts education outreach programs. The gala revolves around one of the Broadway shows in the season and is one of the event highlights in our community. All Silver Circle Members and above are invited to participate.

Golden Circle Level ($500 and up)

All the benefits of Silver plus…

  • Opportunity to purchase a reserved season parking pass
    Gold Circle members and above have an opportunity to purchase a parking pass for all Wharton Center performances. Parking is reserved and centrally located for access to the lobby.
  • Advanced notification of Wharton Travels opportunities
    Annually, Wharton Center travels with 40 donors to New York City for a long weekend in May. The trip includes two Broadway performances and dinner prior to each performance. The development office handles all accommodations. The trip is offered first to past travelers and than open to Golden Circle Members and above.

Platinum Circle Level ($1,000 and up)

All the benefits of Golden plus…

  • Exclusive Priority 1 seating consideration for Series ticket purchases ordered by announced deadline (maximum of six Zone 1 seats)
  • Invitation to Platinum Lounge on Friday & Saturday nights of Broadway performances if tickets purchased for those nights
    One hour prior to the Friday and Saturday night Broadway performances and during intermission, the Wolfram Green Room is open to Platinum Circle Members and above for hors d ’oeuvres, desserts and beverages. Members must have performance tickets for either the Friday or Saturday night performance to receive an invitation.
  • Invitation to Cast Party on opening night of Broadway performance if tickets purchased for that night
    On the opening night of a Broadway performance, traditionally Tuesday night, Platinum Circle Members and above who have purchased tickets for the show that evening are invited to a cast party. The party is held after the performance at a local restaurant with a buffet, cash bar and opportunity to meet members of the cast.

Crystal Circle Level ($1,500 and up)

All the benefits of Platinum plus…

  • Exclusive VIP Ticket Service for purchasing additional tickets or exchanges
    This ultimate ticket advantage provides an opportunity for Crystal Circle Members and above to exchange or purchase additional tickets through the development office. The best seats remaining in the house for any given performance are made available to our Members. Personal and customer friendly service make it easy to handle last minute requests and problems.

Diamond Circle Level ($2,500 and up)

All the benefits of Crystal plus…

  • Exclusive invitation to Sneak Preview of upcoming season
    Prior to the Donor Appreciation Command Performance, Diamond Circle Members and above are invited to a complimentary dinner with the Director to learn about the upcoming season. It ’s is also an opportunity for the Center to express gratitude for your financial support.
  • Autographed poster of one performance of your choice upon request
    Prior to the beginning of the season, Diamond Circle Members and above can request an autographed poster of the performance of their choice. Posters are subject to availability and at the discretion of the artist.

Garnet Circle Level ($3,750 and up)

All the benefits of Diamond plus…

  • 2 free tickets to selected performance.

 

Sapphire Circle Level ($5,000 and up)

All the benefits of Garnet plus…

  • Preference in scheduling Wolfram Green Room and Stoddard Grand Tier Lounge for receptions
    Sapphire Circle Members and above are given priority in scheduling a reception in the Wolfram Green Room or Stoddard Grand Tier Lounge. Requests are made during the subscription process and available on a first come, first serve basis. All applicable rental fees apply.
  • Private post-performance backstage tour upon request
    Sapphire Circle Members and above have an opportunity to go backstage and on stage to see how a production is put together. Backstage tours are by appointment only and subject to the authorization of the touring company.
  • Additional autographed poster of performance of your choice upon request
    Sapphire Circle Members and above may receive an additional autographed poster subject to availability. The request must be made at the beginning of the season.

Ruby Circle Level ($7,500 and up)

All the benefits of Sapphire plus…

  • Invitation to lunch with the Director

 

Emerald Circle Level ($10,000 and up)

All the benefits of Ruby plus…

  • Performance sponsorship recognition upon request
    Emerald Circle Members have an opportunity to have your donation recognized in conjunction with a specific performance and to be acknowledged in promotional materials.
  • Opportunity to meet artist backstage after performance (upon request and with artist’s permission)
    Emerald Circle Members can request to meet an artist after the performance. This opportunity is subject to the approval of the artist and must be made at least a week prior to the performance.

Ticket Priority

Wharton Center’s subscribers are seated on a ticket priority system involving both donation level and consecutive years of subscription history. All Circle Members are part of that priority seating affording you the opportunity to purchase the best seats in the house prior to the general public.

Here is how the priority system works:

Renewable Seats Available Donors who make a one-time gift of $50,000 or more to one of the Center’s endowment funds are entitled to the right-of-first-refusal to four seats of their choice (based on availability) for their personal subscription order during their lifetime. These seats are for personal use only and cannot be transferred to anyone else.

  • Priority 1 $1,000 donors and above will have their subscription order of a maximum of six Zone 1 seats seated next.
  • Priority 2 $250 to $999 donors or subscribers with 10 years of history or more will be seated next with a maximum of four Zone 1 seats. Subscribers who qualify for Priority 2 status and who also donate between $250 to $999 will be seated first to reflect the value of private support.
  • Priority 3 $100 to $249 donors or subscribers with 6 years of history or more will be seated after priority 2. Subscribers who qualify for Priority 3 status and who also donate between $100 to $249 will be seated first to reflect the value of private support.
  • Priority 4 Donors of $50-$99 or subscribers with 5 consecutive years or less of history will be seated after priority 3.

General Public Series tickets go on sale to the general public after the above priorities are seated.
