Theatre has been one of the last remaining places where I can relax. Theatre has saved what would have been a horrible year.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
It has been my dream to become a musical theatre actress since I was thirteen and I haven’t wavered from that dream. Theatre is my absolute favorite thing to do and it only made sense for me to make it my career and that is my plan.

I am passionate about writing and directing my own films. I also enjoy singing in choir, church band, and in my own barbershop quartet.

What is a hidden talent you have?

What has theatre meant to you during the last year?
Theatre has meant more than I can really put into words. I haven't been able to really do anything aside from theatre, and being able to perform with my friends means the world to me.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I am not 100% sure what I want to be when I grow up, but I want to inspire people. I had an amazing experience growing up and I want everyone to know how amazing it is!

What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up I want to perform. I don't know how I'm going to do it or through what medium, but somehow, I'll be acting. I might play the body of an animated character as an animator, or their voice as a voice actor. I could end up doing live theatre as a career, too. It's going to happen, one way or another!

What is your biggest accomplishment so far?
My biggest accomplishment so far is that I have two national titles for singing. In 2018 and 2019 I was the vocal national champion at "That's Entertainment Performing Arts Competition".

This past year theatre has meant everything. It is a moment of hope when there is so much pain. It has allowed me to see the good in humanity and share that sensation with everyone watching.

This past year theatre has been a source of comfort throughout all of the uncertainty. Art perseveres through everything, and seeing the theatre community continue to create and perform in new ways has been inspiring.

What is your biggest accomplishment so far?
My biggest accomplishment thus far is managing to secure and maintain my number one class rank. I had to balance my academics with the arts, extracurriculars, personal responsibilities, and leisure to ensure none got neglected.

What is your biggest accomplishment so far?
My biggest accomplishment thus far is getting accepted to the University of Michigan’s Musical Theatre program! As a member of the 1.5% of applicants who secured a spot within the program, the years of hard work and preparation necessary to reach this moment made it all worth it. I immensely look forward to beginning classes in the fall!

What do you want to be when you grow up?
Whatever I do when I grow up, I want to make sure that it makes me happy. I believe that a career in musical theatre is my future because it makes me smile and provides true happiness that I want and deserve for myself. What are you passionate about outside of theatre?
Outside of theatre I am very passionate about stock car racing. I have been racing for 12 years. Soon I will be racing in a Limited Late Model at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan.

What is your biggest accomplishment so far?
My Biggest accomplishment so far has been earning my 1st degree black belt in martial arts. I have been doing karate for a little over 12 years now and enjoyed every minute of it. This fall I will be able to test for my second degree alongside my dad.

A hidden talent I have is that I can rap/sing every character's part in the song "Your Fault" from Into The Woods at 1.5x faster than the original tempo.

Theatre has meant everything to me over this last year. With life being how it is now a days, theatre was an escape from the outside world. It gave me some normality in life which felt lost because of Covid.

Having theatre taken away from me showed me how much I need it. It brings me confidence and an incredible amount of joy. Performing helps me keep going in life even when things are really hard.

Outside of theatre I am passionate about space exploration. I'm attracted to the utter sense of limited knowledge that the human race has on the universe. It allows me to explore theories and discover information contributing to the study of outer space.

I am very passionate about stand up comedy and the art behind it. Comedy writing and stand up has quite frankly kept me as sane as possible throughout this pandemic. It is such an amazing outlet to come home to after the stress of 2020 and beyond.

This past year I earned over $600,000 in college scholarship offers from the Michigan Thespian Festival. It was so amazing to see all of my hard work pay off!

Theatre has been what I go to for comfort, especially given the sudden onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. What got me through was knowing that I would be able to perform again. Theatre has been my safe place.
