Thank you for purchasing tickets to Disney’s The Lion King.  Below are some helpful tips to ensure your group experience is a wonderful one.

Getting to Wharton Center and Parking

Detailed directions and parking information is attached. Please alert Roslyn James at (517) 884-3105 or [email protected] if you are arriving by bus and the number of buses expected. In addition, if you have any guests in need of curb to seat service please let us know prior to your arrival.

If arriving by car, parking is available at the Wharton Ramp (766 Shaw Ln), $5 cash only.

Distribution of tickets

We request tickets be distributed to individuals prior to your arrival inside Wharton Center. When possible please keep records of who gets what tickets/seats and provide a copy to our group sales coordinator, Roslyn James or the ticket office. This information is helpful for many scenarios including lost tickets and emergencies.

Security Updates

Bag screening measures will be in place for all Lion King Performances. Bags 4.5”x 6.5” and under will not be screened. Prohibited bags include backpacks, oversized bags, and cinch/drawstring bags. Allow additional time for entering due to lines for screening.

The Cobb Great Hall Lobby, Wharton Gifts, Refreshment and Lion King Merchandise stands open one hour prior to the start time on your tickets.

Runtimes and Late Seating

The Lion King is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.  The show begins promptly at the designated time on the ticket. Patrons arriving late will be held in the Ticket Office Lobby for the first 15 minutes of the performance.  Additional seating holds take place throughout the performance. Intermission will be 18 minutes long.
