Making Herstory presents a powerful program that features music about women and written by women composers. The evening includes Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman No. 6 by Joan Tower, curated movements from Montgomery Variations by Margaret Bonds, and Battle for the Ballot by Stacy Garrop, alongside a premiere by an MSU student composer—winner of the Jere Hutcheson Composition Competition.
