Direct from the Tony Award winning Revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Company, song wonder Claybourne Elder is also known for starring Broadway roles in Sundays in the Park with George, Torch Song, and Bonnie and Clyde, along with Sondheim on Sondheim at the Hollywood Bowl, and much more. Claybourne Elder began his career-originating role of Hollis in Sondheim’s Road Show, and now can be seen starring as John Adams in the hit HBO series, The Gilded Age. Don’t miss this hilarious and heartfelt evening that’s part cabaret, part stand-up, featuring his favorite music from Sondheim, the Great American Songbook, and more.

Due to an unexpected scheduling conflict, the Sincerly, Sondheim with Nicholas Rodriguez performance, scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 7:00pm will not take place. In his stead will be Claybourne Elder, If the Stars were Mine.
- You can keep your ticket(s) and attend the Club 750 Claybourn Elder If the Stars were Mine performance on the same date, time, and location: Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 7pm in the Jackson Lounge. Your original tickets will be honored. If you have mobile tickets, you can re-download them by logging into your account
- Or you can request a refund. Call the Ticket Office at 517.432.2000 or email wharton@msu.edu prior to 5pm, Thursday, August 28, 2025, for information on how to proceed. Refunds will be issued using the same method as the original payment. Check, gift card/gift certificates, and cash refunds will be issued a check from Michigan State University within 8-10 weeks.
Please note, tickets purchased through a third party cannot be refunded by Wharton Center.
