Lungs
“Genius” –Washingtonian
“A beautifully crafted love story that is not only intensely personal but also poignantly universal.” –Toronto Star
On a trip to IKEA, a young couple tries to navigate the question of whether to have a child. The conversation spirals into a series of existential and often funny discussions about what they know life to be, revealing an emotional, real, and fiercely honest love story. Called “deeply human” (The Guardian), Lungs explores a young couple’s relationship through crackling dialogue with deep, universal resonance. This Wharton Center Theatre Production features unique minimalist staging with the audience sharing the Pasant stage with the performers.
